
Beetroot smoothie
Beet it at any time of day with this bright and nutritious smoothie
Nutrient packed pre or post workout smoothie, rich in nitrates and Vitamin C
Ingredients
1 small cooked beetroot: roasted, steamed, or pre-cooked
1 ripe banana
1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
1/2 cup water or coconut water
1/2 cup Greek Yoghurt
SWAP for plant based greek yoghurt (VG)
1 tsp honey SWAP maple syrup (VG)
A small piece of fresh ginger (about 1/2 inch) (optional)
Method
Add everything into a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness if needed.
